Anaheim, CA – UFC middleweight Anthony Hernandez hopes his performance against Roman Kopylov at UFC 298 is enough to get him another big fight, and into the UFC 5 video game.
“I want to get home, make sure everything’s healthy, I’m riding this high right now. I honestly don’t follow like the f*cking division like that. Whoever the f*cks in front of me, I’m ready,” Hernadez told Cageside Press among other reporters at his post-fight scrum on Saturday.
“I want to do a main event, that would be f*cking dope, because I would like to have my face on a poster, and I’m trying to get in the video game so what’s up?”
Hernandez (12-2) may have more than just a video game appearance in the works as he’s taken out a popular up-and-comer in Kopylov. He might just be starting his run to a UFC title.
“I want to make my run now. I’m happy, I’m excited, but it’s time to get back to f*cking work,” Hernandez said.
“I’m going to stay in everybody’s f*cking face, I’m going to gas everybody out, that’s my game plan. That’s the way I fight, I’ve been fighting like that for a very long time, I’m just going to keep doing what I do.”
