Toronto – Nobody has a twitter account like UFC featherweight Charles Jourdain who faces Sean Woodson at UFC 297 on Saturday night.
Jourdain has easily one of the funniest Twitter accounts on the roster, and some of his tweets were brought up in hopes that the featherweight could decipher them. On Dec 18 he tweeted, “The Dildo of consequences rarely comes with lube.”
“Sometimes consequences are painful when you do the wrong choice. Yeah…lube in important, kids,” Jourdain told reporters including Cageside Press on Wednesday.
Another one read, “For this fight I’m at disadvantage because of the reach. I will use the same strategy I use with my Step Sister. Penetrate and dominate #UFC297”.
“It’s important to take chances in life. I shouldn’t phrase it that way. I’m just having fun with Twitter. I’m having fun. It’s a fun road. I say stupid stuff,” he said with a smile.
“And I’m not that related. Like we have the same father, but we have a different mother so we’re not that close.”
The strategy is working as Jourdain has seen an increase of engagement from fans which every fighter looks to do in terms of marketing themselves.
“We’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time. I like this quote. I would find a way to make it stupid, but it’s true,I think sometimes you take it (life) a little bit too much serious. I’m enjoying it, and I see that fans they post like those GIF,” Jourdain told Cageside Press
“They’re like what is wrong with this guy. Or he has too much concussion. I might so it’s fun. More interaction.”
