Two big pieces of news floated to the surface of an otherwise murky UFC 2024 Season Press Conference on Friday. One, UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that UFC 299 is set for Miami, Florida. The other was that UFC 300 would most likely take place in Las Vegas.
Just about as soon as Dana White had said the words (if not sooner), UFC social media made the announcement: UFC 300 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13, 2024.

The UFC 299 location has been an open secret for a while now, with multiple sources previously confirming the destination to Cageside Press. White had also let the Miami locale slip previously, as had Sean O’Malley, who will headline the card opposite Marlon “Chito” Vera.
UFC 300’s location was also widely assumed to be Las Vegas. It’s a milestone event for the company, with UFC 100 and UFC 200 two of the biggest events in promotion history. No fights have been announced for the April card, which will no doubt take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. But the inclusion of Conor McGregor has been rumored, in his long-awaited fight with Michael Chandler. If that bout doesn’t happen, any number of big fights could make the monumental event — and likely a surprise or two.
At UFC 200, former heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar returned from retirement to face Mark Hunt. Lesnar won the three-round affair, but the victory was later overturned when Lesnar failed his drug test. That led to years of legal battles between the promotion and Hunt, who sued suggesting the UFC had conspired to allow a dirty fighter to compete.
UFC 299, meanwhile, takes place on March 9, 2024 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL. In addition to O’Malley vs. Vera, heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Jailton Almeida face off, while Katlyn Chookagian vs. Maycee Barber is also scheduled.
