One of several regional shows in action on Friday night was U.K. based Cage Warriors, making the trip across to the pond to San Diego for Cage Warriors 165.
The card, taking place at the Sycuan Casino Resort, was set to be headlined by UFC alum Trevin “Five Star” Jones, in a bantamweight match-up with Roberto Hernandez.
Hernandez was moving down to 135lbs for the bout, after putting together an eight-fight win streak in the featherweight division. Jones, meanwhile, had defeated fellow UFC vet Wilson Reis in his first fight outside the company.
