ONE Championship’s second card of the weekend arrived on Friday night in the west (Saturday local time in Thailand) with ONE Fight Night 17 going down at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Headlined by a heavyweight Muay Thai title fight, the promotion’s latest Prime Video offering was all about the striking, with not a single mixed martial arts or submission grappling bout on the card.
In the main event, Roman Kryklia, already the ONE Championship heavyweight kickboxing king, looked to become a two-sport champ as he went after the inaugural heavyweight Muay Thai title against Alex Roberts.
In the co-main event of the all-Muay Thai card, popular Thai standout “Smokin'” Jo Nattawut took on Luke Lessei.
