Bobby Green apparently came to blows with at least one member of Arman Tsarukyan’s team in an altercation ahead of UFC Austin this weekend.
Green addressed the situation in a video posted to social media on Wednesday, after his management team, Iridium Sports Agency, released a statement regarding the altercation.
“During a media interview earlier today, Iridium Sports Agency client Bobby Green was unprovokingly accosted and attacked by a member of Arman Tsarukyan’s team at the UFC host hotel. Bobby tried to avoid the conflict, but he was put in a position where he had to defend himself and his coach from a larger, aggressive group,” the brief statement read.
Green himself shed more details after the fact, adding a brief audio clip to his Instagram story stating “All of this just because I said his fight was boring? Whoopty-fucking-doo.”
Additional video footage of Green that surfaced on social media on Wednesday showed the lightweight, scheduled to face Jalin Turner in the UFC Austin co-main event, hovering near Tsarukyan’s team some time on from the original incident.
“Just getting started,” Green says, before a brief cut. Green can be heard hollering at Tsarukyan’s entourage. “Sh*t’s just getting started, n*gga. Little b*tch-ass n*gga right there. Yeah I’mma get you right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y’all ran up on me, n*gga. Ya’ll ran up on me. What’s up?”

In a second clip, Bobby Green added “I don’t be starting nothing with nobody, but if you start that sh*t with me, I’m definitely going to finish it. This sh*t just starting. It’s just starting. N*gga might go to jail tonight, f*cking around playing with me. This bitch-ass n*gga ran up on me and sh*t trying to start that sh*t, he didn’t know I was going to finish it. I socked one of his homies, bop! Stop playing with me, bro!”
Green also implored fans to help him identify one individual in the altercation, who he accused of “acting tough” only when the odds were favorable, or security was present.
Barring any further altercations or legal fallout, Green is expected to face Turner (stepping in to replace Dan Hooker) in the UFC Austin co-main event this Saturday. Arman Tsarukyan headlines against Beneil Dariush.
