The UFC’s return to Shanghai has it’s main event set. Bantamweights Song Yadong and Chris Gutierrez will headline UFC Shanghai on Dec.9 at Shanghai Indoor Arena.

Song (20-7) gets the headliner nod coming off a main event victory over Ricky Simon in April. Originally set to face Rob Font at UFC 292 Song was forced off the card due to injury. He now sees Gutierrez in the octagon in China.
Song holds notable victories over Marlon Moraes, Julio Arce, and Chito Vera. With a 9-2 record in the UFC he’s set for his second consecutive main event slot.
Gutierrez (20-5) is coming off a decision victory over Heili Alateng in Oct. He had an 8-fight win streak snapped when he lost a decision to Pedro Munhoz in April.
Gutierrez has beaten the likes of Frankie Edgar, Batgerel Danaa, Andre Ewell and Vince Morales. This marks his first main event slot in the UFC.
