Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to action on Friday night, on a weekend low on MMA action with most of the major players taking the end of October off. With that said, LFA 170 was ready to fill the void, with a couple of familiar names on the card.
Among them, Haris Talundzic, a welterweight prospect getting main event billing against fellow up-and-comer Daniel Frunza. With a win, Talundzic was hoping to either fight for gold in LFA, or to get a short-notice call to jump straight to the UFC.
Also in action Friday, Caio Machado, who had been competing for Legacy back when it was Legacy FC in 2014, prior to the merger with RFA. The Brazilian was paired up in this case with Ilyor Bakhtiyar Uulu in featherweight action.
