The UFC is celebrating Mexican Independence Day this Saturday with Noche UFC, a Fight Night event capped off by Mexico’s own Alexa Grasso facing Valentina Shevchenko in an immediate rematch of their first flyweight title fight earlier this year.
Grasso shocked pretty much everyone by catching “Bullet” in a submission, in a fight in which most saw Shevchenko ahead. Now, Grasso will look to prove that win was no fluke, and hold the fort as Mexico’s last remaining UFC champ, after the country saw three fighters (Grasso, Brandon Moreno, and Yair Rodriguez) claim titles earlier this year.
Full results from Friday’s Noche UFC weigh-in can be found below. Weigh-ins get underway at noon PT in Las Vegas, NV.
