Daniel Zellhuber Believes It’s Who Trained The Best And Not Who Has More Experience At Noche UFC

Las Vegas, NV – UFC lightweight Daniel Zellhuber is excited about fighting on Mexican Independence Day on a great fight night card against Christos Giagos at Noche UFC on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena.

“Fighting (on) Mexican Independence Day and here at Vegas with all my team here, doesn’t have to have all that pressure about flying,” Zellhuber told reporters including Cageside Press on Wednesday.

“I just feel that it gives me like a little advantage over, in this case over Christos, you know being here I know that I’m going to have the crowd on my side. It’s good being here.”

Zellhuber may have the advantage living in Las Vegas and having the Mexican crowd on his side, but he’s taking on an experienced Giagos who has 9 fights in the UFC to his 2. It’s something that Zellhuber has thought about.

“The hard work (is going to be the key). I’ve been working hard for all my life and since I arrived here to Vegas and I start training here, I’m doing like 4-5 sessions a day. Really getting all that experience training with way more experienced people than me. I feel that, at this point, it’s not about experience. It’s about who trained the best,” he said.

“It’s about who have the best game plan and who can do his game plan better under pressure at the moment in the fight.”
