Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to action, and to Brazil, on Saturday with LFA 166, which saw the promotion’s welterweight title on the line in the main event.
The vacant belt was up for grabs between contenders Geraldo Neto and Magnus Conrado, two veterans of the regional circuit. Conrado had won his last two fights, and was making his LFA debut in the bout, while Neto was winner of his last five. He’d made his debut for LFA earlier this year, claiming a submission victory over Argemiro Delmandes.
Two fighters missed weight for LFA 166 on Friday, Samuel Silva and Paulo Oliveira. Both forgeit a portion of their fight purse as a result, but their bouts move forward at a catchweight.
