Canadian promotion BTC was back in action on Saturday, August 5, 2023 with a couple of familiar names high up the BTC 21 card.
Taking place at The Aud in Kitchener, Ontario, BTC 21 was headlined by a welterweight title fight featuring Canadian UFC veteran Jesse Ronson. The 37-year old had won all three of his fights since exiting the UFC last year, most recently stopping fellow UFC vet Kazula Vargas by TKO.
The BTC welterweight title would be on the line when Ronson, who holds super lightweight gold in Samourai MMA, took on Ricardo Chavez.
Also featured at BTC 21, flyweight prospect Tony Laramie looked to make it six straight wins when he took on Daniel Nunez. Brother of UFC alum T.J. Laramie, Tony appeared to be on the cusp of breaking into the UFC himself.
Taking place at The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium (better known as The Aud) in Kitchener, Ontario on Saturday August 5, BTC 21 gets underway at 6PM ET. The event streams live via PPV here; full results can be found below.
