The UFC 292 post has arrived, and not surprisingly, both title fights are in focus.
The UFC returns to the TD Garden in Boston, MA next month for the Pay-Per-View event, topped by Aljamain Sterling vs. Sean O’Malley. The turnaround has felt quick when it comes to Sterling — he fought just a few months ago, defending his title against Henry Cejudo at UFC 288 in New Jersey — and much has been made about whether he was strong-armed into the fight.
Regardless, the fight is happening, and the official event poster has now arrived, dropped by the UFC on Tuesday afternoon.

O’Malley has long been circling a title shot, thanks to a combination of skill and popularity. There’s no doubt the UFC wanted to get the “Sugar Show” fighter into the title picture, given he has become the most popular Contender Series product of all time. A setback against Marlon Vera pushed back the time table just a little — but the Sugar Era could very well arrive in Boston next month.
The second fight joining the docket on August 19 sees strawweight champ Weili Zhang return, defending her belt against Brazil’s Amanda Lemos. A bit of a surprise fight, especially given fellow Chinese star Yan Xiaonan is now within striking distance of Zhang — but if she comes out of Boston with her title still in hand, the pair could end up topping a show in China not too far down the line.
