Las Vegas, NV – Sometimes you can go home and get back on track and UFC welterweight Daniel Rodriguez did just that moving his camp back to California from Las Vegas, and looking to show improvement in his next fight.
“I’ve been in California about the past 6 months, and honestly it’s been a whole experience for me because before I had moved to Vegas I was really in like my own little small circle,” Rodriguez told Cageside Press at UFC X.
“But now that I’m back and I’ve got experience out here in Vegas working with so many people. Now I’m tapping in to all my resources out in California so yeah it’s been an experience.”
With his camp set back in California and plenty of places to go get different looks and different types of training Rodriguez is looking to test his skills sooner than later.
“It’s been maybe about a month since my last fight. Didn’t go my way, but I’ve been working on little imperfections, learned from that one, and talked to my management recently,” Rodriguez said.
“We’re looking for something within the next month-and-a-half to two months. All I need is a full fight camp and I’ll be ready to get in against anybody.”
