The UFC returns home to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas this weekend, for a Fight Night card that took everyone by surprise with it’s out-of-left field main event.
UFC Vegas 76 is headlined by middleweight Sean Strickland, a consistent face in the main event scene over the past year or two, paired up with… Abus Magomedov? The unranked Dagestani, though promising, was a surprise pick to fight the #7 ranked Strickland, who not too long ago had been considered close to a title shot.
A relatively solid line-up by Apex standards, UFC Vegas 76 also features the return of Kevin Lee (mysteriously placed on the preliminary card), and appearances by Damir Ismagulov, Max Griffin, Ismael Bonfim, and Guram Kutateladze, among others.
