Oktagon MMA was in action on Saturday, May 20, 2023 with Oktagon 43, featuring a middleweight title fight and two quarterfinal bouts in the ongoing million euro Tipsport Gamechanger welterweight tournament.
The main event of the card at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic pitted middleweight champ Patrik Kincl against Karlos Vemola, in a grudge match between former friends (depending on who you ask, at least). The fight was a rematch of their 2018 meeting, which ended with Vemola winning a unanimous decision.
In tournament action, Danish welterweight Louis Glismann also had a rematch on his hands, as he took on Melvin van Suijdam, who he defeated via kneebar five years prior. David Kozma, meanwhile, took on Alex Lohore for a chance to advance to the semifinal round.
Oktagon 43 is available via Oktagon.tv with the PPV broadcast getting underway at 11:30AM ET. Full results can be found below.
