Cody Brundage has another child on the way, a second daughter, and wants to kick that off with a big performance this Saturday.
Brundage is 2-2 inside the octagon to date, and has been paired up with Rodolfo Vieira at UFC Vegas 72. The pair feature on the main card, another promotion for Brundage, who kicked off a main card in his last outing.
“I think I’m a guy who’s really willing to enter the fire, in all my fights. Win or lose, I feel like it’s an exciting fight,” Brundage (8-3) told media outlets on Wednesday, asked about his placement on the Las Vegas-based card. “I don’t have too many fights go to decision, I’m a finisher, I’m a fast starter. And fortunately most of the people I’ve fought have been fast starters as well. And that makes for exciting fights.”
“I feel like that’s part of the reason I’m moving up the card. And then also, this card on paper, people are looking at it like ‘oh, it’s not the best card of the year.'” Brundage continued. “So kind of a mixture of those things.”
As for the match-up with Vieira itself, “I’m excited, this fight is perfect,” the Factory X fighter added.
