Seemingly constantly growing in popularity, BareKnuckle FC was back in action on Saturday with BKFC 40, going down in Leeds in the United Kingdom.
Continuing the promotion’s push towards international expansion, BKFC 40 featured a light heavyweight headliner, with a pair of undefeated bareknuckle fighters in the main event, as U.K. natives Anthony Holmes and Danny Christie threw down.
Holmes boasted four wins under the BKFC banner ahead of Saturday’s card, with one draw. Christie had competed twice previously for the organization — finishing both fights.
Given those perfect records, there was a very good chance the winner of Saturday night’s main event would position themselves for a potential title shot moving forward (and the UK light heavyweight title was on the line Saturday).
