As expected, the UFC is heading back to London, England for a Fight Night event this July.
On Thursday, promotion President Dana White confirmed the date, previously reported by Cageside Press and other outlets, as July 22. And despite the White’s hopes of hosting a second PPV in London this year, the event will indeed be a Fight Night card.
“We’re going back to London, England, one of the best places in the world to see a live UFC event,” White said in a video announcement revealing the London date, and other upcoming match-ups. “We’ll be there for a UFC Fight Night on July 22. We’re working on that card now, but you know I always have something special in line for the U.K. fight fans.”
The promotion is expected to once again host the card at the O2 Arena in London. The arena saw two visits by the company last year, including the wildly successful UFC Fight Night 204 in March 2022, widely considered one of the best Fight Night events in the promotion’s history.
Last month, the O2 was the site of UFC 286, which saw Leon Edwards retain his welterweight title while closing out his trilogy with Kamaru Usman.
No fights have been announced for the organization’s latest visit to London just yet.
