A chaotic day at the scales ahead of GLORY 83 resulted in one fight no longer having a world championship hanging in the balance.
Middleweight champ Donovan Wisse had been expected to defend his middleweight belt against Cesar Almeida in the night’s co-main event. However, with Almeida missing weight by one kilogram, the bout shifted to a three round, non-title contest.
In the main event, Sergej Maslobojev put his light heavyweight title on the line against challenger Donegi Abena.
GLORY 83 takes place on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany. Preliminary card action streams live and free on the GLORY Youtube channel and official Facebook page.
