Machado captured the Invicta FC strawweight title last year, winning two fights in a night to claim gold. The highly-touted Brazilian went the distance in a pair of three-round fights against Karolina Wójcik and Ediana Silva, winning both match-ups via decision.
“Tina Black” had previously appeared on Dana White’s Contender Series in October of 2021, coming up short against Piera Rodriguez. The champ has won four straight; of her three losses as a pro, two have come against opponents currently fighting in the UFC: Rodriguez, and Maria Oliveira.
Born in Roscommon, Ireland, McCormack went 4-1 under the Bellator MMA banner from 2019 to 2022, and joined the Invicta roster in November. In he promotional debut, she defeated Maira Mazar, capturing a unanimous decision. It’s straight on to a title fight for the SBG Ireland athlete, who went 1-2 in three bouts last year.
