UFC Vegas 67 is official, though Friday’s official weigh-in did not go off without a hitch.
While all main card fights are set, one preliminary card bout fell through during weigh-ins, after Sijara Eubanks failed to hit the scales. About an hour into the weigh-in window, UFC officials announced that, due to weight management issues, Eubanks was out of her women’s flyweight fight with Priscila Cachoeira.
Cachoeira had previously successfully weighed in. No replacement will be sought for Eubanks due to the late nature of her withdrawal.
UFC Vegas 67 is topped by Sean Strickland and Nassourdine Imavov in a light heavyweight contest necessitated by Strickland stepping in on short notice to replace Kelvin Gastelum. After sustaining a mouth injury in sparring, Gastelum pulled out of the event earlier this week.
