Legacy Fighting Alliance was back in action on Friday, December 9, 2022 with a wetlerweight title fight topping LFA 148 in Commerce, California.
In the main event, Alfonso Leyva, a rising Mexican prospect with an unblemished record, looked to claim the vacant 170lb strap against Chris Brown. Though far more experienced, Brown was coming in off just a single win, to another prospect in Haris Talundzic, while having come up short against Carlos Leal on the PFL Challenger Series, along with losses to UFC alums Ignacio Bahamondes, Thomas Gifford, and Carrington Banks.
Earlier in the night, Dione Barbosa looked to bounce back from a couple of losses in her first fight in over a year, when the Brazilian took on Mariana Piccolo.
LFA 148 takes place Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Commerce Commerce Casino & Hotel in Commerce, California. The main card streams live on UFC Fight Pass following online prelims. Full results from the event can be found below.
