New York, NY – Two title fights, plenty of star power and the Big Apple all collide on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden for UFC 281: Adesanya vs. Pereira.
The stacked card will take place at the history MSG, and it boasts two title fights and a massive showdown in the lightweight division on PPV.
The card is full of fan-favorites and big names. Fighters such as Carlos Ulberg and Matt Frevola fight on the early prelims. Matchups such as Erin Blanchfield and Molly McCann along with Dominick Reyes and Ryan Spann are on ESPNNEWS prelims with a featured bout between Brad Riddell and Renato Moicano.
Kicking off the main card on PPV is a barn burner of a fight between Dan Hooker and Claudio Puelles followed by the retirement bout for MMA legend Frankie Edgar who takes on Chris Gutierrez.
Then the featured bout of the night between lightweight powerhouses Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler set the stage for two title bouts.
The 115 pound queen Carla Esparza takes on former champion Zhang Weili. And in the main event the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will attempt to exorcise demons of the past when he takes on Alex Pereira.
