A week removed from UFC 280, which saw a major shift atop the lightweight division, the featherweights were in the spotlight at UFC Vegas 63.
In the Fight Night card’s main event, Calvin Kattar was set to return to action, looking to bounce back from a close split decision loss to Josh Emmett. Paired up with the New England Mafia member was Arnold Allen, coming in off a decisive victory against Dan Hooker at UFC London in March.
In the co-main event, a fan-friendly welterweight booking saw Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means set opposite Max “Pain” Griffin.
UFC Vegas 63 takes place this Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Weigh-ins for the event take place Friday; full results can be found below.
Only Josh Weems missed the mark on Friday, coming in at 139.5 pounds for his bantamweight fight with Rodriguez. Rodriguez, for his part, weighed in last, with about 20 minutes to go in the weigh-in window — but despite using the barrier, he did make weight at 136lbs even.
