After a rare week off, the UFC returned to action Saturday night, once again setting up shop at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for UFC Vegas 62.
Topping the Fight Night event was a women’s flyweight match-up, featuring contenders Viviane Araujo and Alexa Grasso. While neither was likely to lock up a title shot with a win, a statement victory by either women could do wonders for their title hopes.
Also featured on Saturday’s card, Cub Swanson made the drop to bantamweight for the first time. “Killer” Cub successfully made weight on Friday; how he would look against Jonathan Martinez was one of several big questions heading into Fight Night.
