Friday night saw Legacy Fighting Alliance touch down inside the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for LFA 144: Gafurov vs. Silva.
The 16-fight card was topped by a bantamweight title fight, though only one fighter would be eligible to win the promotion’s vacant 135lb title. That would be Muin Gafurov, a ONE Championship and Contender Series alum who entered the fight off a win over fellow prospect Herbeth Sousa.
Opposite Gafurov at LFA 144 was Diego Silva, who unfortunately missed weight for the fight. That meant he would not be eligible to claim the title, even should he defeat Gafurov on Friday.
Also on the LFA 144 card, undefeated flyweight prospect Christian Natividad returned to action after over a year on the sidelines.
