UFC Paris is official, with all fighters making weight Friday morning.
The main event was never really in doubt, what with the fight being a heavyweight affair between former interim champ Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa. And while Tuivasa tipped the scales at a full 266 pounds — the absolute max for a heavyweight fighter — he weighed in early in the window, well in advance of Gane himself.
Gane came in at a comparatively svelte 247, while the only question mark was Christian Quinonez, who weighed in last — but still little over an hour into the weigh-in window, with plenty of time to spare. He hit the mark, clocking in at 136 pounds for his bantamweight scrap with Khalid Taha.
Newcomer Ailin Perez, featured in a card-opening women’s featherweight fight against Stephanie Egger on Saturday, came in just under 145 pounds, and called out “championship weight!” as she weighed in.
Full results from Friday’s official weigh-in, and highlights from both the official and ceremonial weigh-ins, can be found below. UFC Paris takes place Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
