The UFC returns to London, England for the second time in 2022 this Saturday, with another stacked card headed to the O2 Arena.
July’s UFC London is the sequel to the promotion’s triumphant return to Europe in March, which marked its first visit since prior to the pandemic. The card was a rousing success, considered one of the best Fight Night events of all time, and led to Dana White immediately promising a return performance later in the year.
And here we are. British heavyweight Tom Aspinall is once again in the main event, this time against dangerous wrestler Curtis Blaydes. Also along for the ride, the Paddy and Molly show, as Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann, teammates fighting out of Liverpool, will no doubt be fan favorites on the night.
Some non-Brits also feature large on the UFC London card: Sweden’s Jack Hermansson faces Chris Curtis, with the American stepping up to replace middleweight Darren Till in the co-main event. And former two-time light heavyweight title challenger Alexander Gustafsson returns to the division that made him famous when he faces off with Nikita Krylov.
The official weigh-in for UFC London goes down Friday morning; full results can be found below.
No misses at the scales on Friday — Marc Diakiese weighed in last, but hit the mark at 156 for his lightweight fight. The co-main event was official early in the window, and even main event heavyweight Tom Aspinall hit the scales relatively early.
