Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to Brazil on Friday night for LFA 136: Gomes vs. Prado.
A featherweight match-up topped the card, as Italo Gomes and Wellington “Predador” Prado threw down in a battle of top Brazilian prospects. Gomes, who made a successful LFA debut back in May, had won three straight fights and boasted an 11-2 record to start the night.
Wellington Prado held a similar 12-2 record in MMA heading into the fight, and entered off a two-fight win streak. Of his losses as a professional mixed martial artist, one had come against current UFC fighter Joanderson Brito.
The co-main event of LFA 126 put the spotlight on the flyweight division, where Davi Costa took on Eduardo Chapolin.
The card overall was billed as Rio de Janeiro vs. Sao Paulo, with prospects from the neighboring states facing off against one another.
