Nate Diaz was in the house for UFC 276 at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, and where a Diaz brother goes, a Stockton slap is sure to follow.

In a brief (and we do mean brief) interview with Full Send MMA’s “OG” Shawny Mack, it’s suggested that Diaz (20-13) is on hand to check out Sean O’Malley’s fight. Whether that’s true or not (they both seem to enjoy recreational cannabis usage a fair bit after all), things quickly go south when Diaz replies “Nah,” then adds “you’d better watch the tweets that are about my dude who fought recently.” Or something like that — the clip is barely intelligible.

Diaz then slaps the reporter’s mic away, and follows up with a Stockton slap.

Whether or not the encounter is legit requires some scrutiny — Mack seems to be waiting for the slap, and a review of the Nelk boys twitter (who are behind Full Send MMA), and various Full Send twitter accounts show no mention of Diaz or anyone associated with him of late.

Mack, meanwhile, reportedly doesn’t even have a Twitter account. Then again, Diaz is exactly the type of character to keep receipts.

Check out the incident in the video below and judge for yourself.

In the meantime, Nate Diaz remains no closer to actually having a fight, unless you count slapping reporters.
