Saturday’s UFC 276 card caps off this year’s International Fight Week, with two title fights closing out the night.
The official weigh-in for the PPV show goes down Friday morning in Las Vegas. In the main event, Israel Adesanya is paired up with Jared Cannonier — “new blood,” as “The Last Stylebender” called him. A former heavyweight, Cannonier, at 38, has his window quickly closing, and needs to make the most of the massive opportunity he’s earned.
The co-main event has Alexander Volkanovski set to collide with Max Holloway for the third time, with Volkanovski up 2-0 in their career series. But as fired up as Holloway was during Thursday’s UFC 276 press conference, it was another main card fighter, Sean Strickland, who had stolen the show — taking the low road, simultaneously praising and ridiculing Adesanya, for everything from his style, to his KO losses to Alex Pereira, to his porn viewing preferences.
Through it all, Strickland all but ignored his own opponent, Pereira. We’ll see how that plays out Saturday.
Official weigh-ins for UFC 276 get underway at 12PM ET, 9AM local time in Las Vegas on Friday, July 1, 2022. Check below for results.
There were no misses at the scale on Friday morning — all fighters successfully made weight!
