Michael Chandler absolutely flatlined Tony Ferguson with a front kick at UFC 274.
The former Bellator MMA lightweight champion then took to the mic in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, and as he has throughout his short UFC career, absolutely spit fire.
A fired up promo found Chandler calling out the winner of Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje, which topped the UFC 274 card. Chandler happens to have lost to both men, and clearly wants another crack at either — preferably with gold on the line. But should that not come to fruition, Chandler said he had one fighter on his mind: Conor McGregor.
“I got one dude on my mind. Conor McGregor, you’ve got to come back and fight somebody!” Chandler quite literally screamed into the mic. “I am the most entertaining lightweight on the planet. But I want to up the stakes Conor. I want you at your biggest, I want you at your baddest, I want you at the best. You and me, at 170. This summer, this fall, this winter. Holler at ya boy!”

It’s not Chandler’s first time calling out the Irish star. This time, however, McGregor was quick to respond.
“I’d have a nice knock off this guy, no doubt about it. A firework spectacle. I like the 170 shout also,” McGregor wrote on social media in response. “Tipped him over. I’m definitely game to fight this guy at some stage in my career. I see it happening after tonight. Congrats on a solid win Michael and another barnstormer.”
McGregor is currently healing up from a broken leg suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July. No time frame has been set for his return.
