The Professional Fighters League is set to kick off its 2022 season in Arlington, Texas this week, with this year’s PFL 1 card featuring the lightweight and light heavyweight divisions.
Two returning champions would be in action on Wednesday night as a result — though neither Raush Manfio nor Antonio Carlos Junior were set to headline the show. That honor instead went to 2021 standout Clay Collard, whose boxing prowess had been paired up against newly signed UFC veteran Jeremy “Lil Heathen” Stephens.
Manfio, meanwhile, was facing another UFC alum in Don Madge, while Carlos Junior was paired up against Delan Monten. Also in action, a third ex-champ, Natan Schulte, taking on “The Canadian Gangster” Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
Weigh-ins for the event were set to go down Tuesday; full results can be found below.
