This weekend’s KSW 69 has seen its main event altered, as Werlleson Martins will make his promotional debut in the fight, stepping in to replace Zuriko Jojua against Sebastian Przybysz.
The promotion’s bantamweight title will be on the line in the match-up. Jojua’s withdrawal comes as the result of a rib injury, which the promotion confirmed on Monday.
Przybysz (9-2) will be making the second defense of his 135lb title in the fight. The Polish bantamweight captured gold last year, defeating Antun Rakic via unanimous decision, then defended the belt against Bruno Santos in October, earning a submission the win with an inverted triangle.
Martins (16-4) has won his last three, most recently competing for Serbian Battle Championship. He holds the SBC bantamweight title, and an 81% finish rate across his 16 wins.
