Friday night’s PFL Challenger Series 7 card offered something a little different in comparison to the first six weeks of the series.
While earlier editions had focused on specific weight classes, PFL Challenger Series 7 was set to feature a card made up entirely of fighters making their professional MMA debuts.
The “Professional Debuts” concept was unique albeit a novelty in terms of fight cards promoted historically. And, somewhat incredibly, the event had actually managed to hold together all the way to fight night. Meaning that every fighter on the docket had a record of 0-0 to start the night.
The only downside: while a PFL contract was still a possibility for a big winner on the night, would a 1-0 fighter have any chance making it all the way during the Professional Fighters League’s regular season?
The PFL Challenger Series 7 card takes place at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, and is set to stream Friday, April 1, 2022 starting at 9PM ET live on fuboTV’s linear network, Fubo Sports Network. Full results from the event can be found below.
