The UFC’s first ever Pay-Per-View event in Singapore has been officially announced.
On Tuesday, promotion officials took to social media to reveal the previously reported plan for UFC 275, which will take place on June 11, 2022 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
Three fights were also officially announced, including two world championship bouts. In the first, Glover Teixeira will put his light heavyweight title on the line against former RIZIN star Jiri Prochazka. And in what is expected to be the evening’s co-feature, Valentina Shevchenko will look to make the seventh consecutive defense of her flyweight title when she takes on Brazil’s Taila Santos.

A non-title fight between top middleweight contenders Robert Whittaker, himself a former champ in the weight class, and Marvin Vettori, was also announced. All three bouts had previously been reported, but not confirmed by the promotion.
The Singapore Indoor Stadium is home base for UFC rival ONE Championship, and was recently home to that promotion’s ONE X event, with limited fan capacity of 6,000 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It’s unclear what the seating arrangement will be for UFC 275, but promotion president Dana White has infamously stated that he will not do shows in half-empty venues.
The UFC last visited Singapore in October 2019, for a Fight Night event topped by welterweights Ben Askren and Demian Maia.
