The UFC might be taking over the city on Saturday night, but on Friday, it was Cage Warriors’ time to shine. Cage Warriors 134 was set for London, with a featherweight title fight topping the marquee.
The promotion that had helped turn Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann into stars (both were fighting on Saturday’s UFC London card) no doubt hoped to generate more buzz this year. And there were definitely some potential future stars in action on Friday. Those included Lone’er Kavanagh, who at just 22 and with only two fights was a prospect of interest regardless. Two wins, both inside the distance, had seen him make our own Prospect Report.
In the main event, Jordan Vucenic was set to make the first defense of his featherweight title against fellow Brit James Hendin. Both fighters had just a single loss to their name entering the night; Vucenic for his part was undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner.
Cage Warriors 134 takes place at the Indigo at the O2 in London, England on Friday, March 18, 2022. Full results from the event can be found below.
