UFC 272 is official, with nary a miss at the scales on Friday morning.
The full card made weight successfully for Saturday’s PPV show, including Renato Moicano, who stepped into a catchweight co-main event with Rafael dos Anjos on short notice. Also hitting the mark was Kevin Holland, dropping to welterweight for the first time in his UFC career.
Most importantly, perhaps, but never really in question, the main event players themselves hit the mark. Both Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal tipped the scales at 170.5lbs for their grudge match on Saturday.
