A pair of featherweight finishers will throw down inside the UFC octagon this March, as a new opponent steps in to face Damon Jackson.
Iridium Sports Agency recently announced that their client Kamuela Kirk will step in to fight Jackson on March 12 at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev. Jackson was initially matched up with Josh Culibao, who has been forced out of the bout. Both fighters would confirm the booking on social media.

Kirk (11-4) was successful in his UFC debut last June, where he defeated Makwan Amirkhani on short notice. “The Jawaiian” is riding a three-fight winning streak.
Jackson (19-4-1) got back into the win column in his last outing as he defeated Charles Rosa via unanimous decision. “The Leech” is 2-1 since returning to promotion after a four-year stint on the regional scene. In his return fight, he submitted Mirsad Bektić and received Performance of the Night; however, in his next fight, he was knocked out by top Georgian prospect Ilia Topuria.
The UFC’s March 12, 2022 event will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas; no broadcast plan has been announced.
