Cage Fury FC kicked off it’s 2022 year with CFFC 105 on Saturday night in Philadelphia.
The CFFC 105 card brought with it a middleweight title fight, with champ Aaron Jeffery returning to defend his 185lb belt against Rex Harris.
Canada’s Jeffery had won the title back in March, against Collin Huckbody, who infamously turned down a UFC deal to get more seasoning on the regional circuit. Jeffery himself then went on to appear on Dana White’s Contender Series back in September, coming up short against Caio Borralho. That marked Jeffrey’s second defeat on the Contender Series, as he also appeared in 2019 against Brendan Allen.
Saturday against Harris would mark his return to action, and a win would be a big first step in working his way back to another shot at the big stage.
CFFC 105 takes place Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The card streams live exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
