The most notable bout is an all Irish battle between featherweights Sinead Kavanagh (7-5) and Leah McCourt (6-1) on the main card. Kavanagh enters the bout after competing for the title against Cris Cyborg in December. McCourt is looking to break into the title conversation after putting together a six fight win-streak with five of those bouts coming under the Bellator banner.
As with most Bellator cards overseas, the event is loaded with primarily European based talent. Other notable bouts announced include a featherweight bout between Brian Moore and top-ten ranked Jornel Lugo, a bantamweight bout between Brett Johns and Khurshed Kakhorov, a middleweight bout between Fabian Edwards and Marian Dimitrov, and a strawweight bout between Danni McCormack against Stephanie Page.
The card is scheduled to be headlined by the middleweight title bout between Gegard Mousasi and Austin Vanderford. In the co-headliner, Ireland’s Peter Queally will take on Kane Mousah in a lightweight bout. The event is scheduled to take place at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
