UFC 269 is official, but it did lose a fight at Friday morning’s weigh-in.
After suffering an undisclosed medical issue (though he did make weight), Matt Schnell was ruled ineligible to compete on Saturday’s card. As a result, his bout with Alex Perez — who later missed weight by a quarter of a pound — has been scratched.
One other fighter was heavy on Friday — Priscila Cachoeira, who was 3lbs over the flyweight limit for her fight with Gillian Robertson.
The headlining foursome, however, were all on point. Charlies Oliveira, Dustin Poirier, Amanda Nunes, and Julianna Pena were the first four fighters to hit the scales, with all making championship weight.
