ONE Championship’s NextGen II card aired on Friday, and in the main event, Thailand’s Rittaweda picked up a win over the legendary Saemapetch Fairtex.
The Muay Thai contest ended due to a doctor’s stoppage, with a cut rendering Saemapetch unable to continue in the second round.
In arguably the highlight of the night, Smokin’ Jo Nattawut knocked Yurik Davtyan out cold in the opening round of their featherweight kickboxing world grand prix alternate bout. Nattawut had been eliminated in the opening round, but still has a shot should anyone fall out of the tournament moving forward.
On the MMA side, China’s Tang Kai improved his record to 13-2 and extended his win streak to eight with a first-round TKO of South Korean Yoon Chang Min.
