Bellator’s women’s featherweight champion has her next fight announced. On Wednesday, Bellator President Scott Coker announced that Cris “Cyborg” Justino will take on Irish contender Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator 271 on November 12. The fight will take place in Hollywood, Florida.

Cris Cyborg (24-2) is looking to continue her dominance in Bellator as she attempts to make her third successful defense. Cyborg is best known for having held and defended championships in several different promotions including the UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC. In Bellator, Cyborg has defeated Julia Budd, Arlene Blencowe, and Leslie Smith since making her debut in the company in 2019.
Sinead Kavanagh (7-4) will be looking to score a historic upset against arguably the greatest female mixed martial artist of all-time. After starting her career 3-0, Kavanagh made her Bellator debut where she has gone 4-4. Her notable opponents have included Blencowe, Smith, and Janay Harding. Kavanagh enter the bout on a two fight win-streak with victories for former title challenger Olga Rubin and Katharina Lehner.
