After several straight weeks on ESPN proper, the UFC is set to return to streaming with Saturday’s UFC Vegas 36 card, featuring middleweights Derek Brunson and Darren Till in the main event.
One glance at the Fight Night event makes it obvious that this card was built to appeal to U.K. fans, and it was originally expected to be held across the pond. But with COVID-19 refusing to go quietly into the night, the event was relocated back to Las Vegas — while still featuring stars like Till, Molly McCann, Welsh fighter Jack Shore, plus the octagon debut of Ireland’s Paddy Pimblett.
The later had been a breakout star in Cage Warriors, and the UFC was no doubt hoping for the second coming of Conor McGregor with the arrival of Paddy “The Baddy.”
