The Professional Fighters League hosts its third and final playoff card on Friday, August 27 in Hollywood, FL — with featherweights and light heavyweights in action at PFL Playoffs 3.
Topping the event, Brendan Loughnane will face arguably his stiffest test in the undefeated Movlid Khaybulaev. Loughnane, barely two years removed from a snub on Dana White’s Contender Series, has put together a seven-fight win streak heading into the event. In Khayulaev, whose lone loss to Daniel Pineda was overturned when Pineda failed a drug test, Loughnane arguably has the toughest test of his career.
Bellator vet Bubba Jenkins and former UFC fighter Chris Wade make up the other featherweight semifinal. On the light heavyweight side of things, champ Emiliano Sordi will face Antonio Carlos Jr., while Cezar Ferreira faces off with Marthin Hamlet.
On the preliminary (ESPN+) card, former UFC and BKFC star Jason Knight returns to MMA, while UFC vets Sheymon Moraes and Chris Camozzi will also be in action.
