A pair of head kicks earned two fighters on the UFC Vegas 33 card some cold hard cash on Saturday.

Instead, a pair of fresh faces, one his his octagon debut, landed head kick KOs — earning both Performance of the Night bonuses.
The first went to Contender Series alum Melsik Baghdasaryan, who absolutely floored fellow DWCS vet Collin Anglin in the opening round. Then, in the impromptu co-main event, Cheyanne Buys erased all memory of her debut loss to Montserrat Ruiz by landing her own head kick on Gloria de Paula.

Fight of the Night honors at UFC Vegas 33 went to the welterweight showdown between Bryan Barberena and Jason Witt. Barberena was returning from some serious medical issues, so perhaps he wasn’t looking for a war. But he got one with Witt, who the judges ultimately awarded a majority decision to.
