UFC veteran Jim Miller will welcome Nikolas Motta to the UFC in September.
MMA Junkie was first to report the news that Miller will be the one to welcome Motta to the UFC. Motta and his team would confirm the book on social media.
After having a great 2019 in which he won both of his fights, Miller (32-16-1) has lost three of his last four. In his lone win in 2020, he submitted Roosevelt Roberts in the first round via guillotine choke. Currently, he is riding a two-fight losing streak and most recently lost to Joe Solecki. When he enters the octagon in September, it will be for the 38th time.
Motta (12-3) is coming off his contract-winning performance on season four of Dana White’s Contender Series. He defeated Joe Lowry via unanimous decision. The Brazilian is a former CFFC lightweight champion and is currently on a three-fight winning streak.
No location, venue, or broadcast details have been announced by the promotion for the September 18 UFC event.
