ONE Championship aired its latest event Friday, with Full Blast II going down bright and early for MMA fans in the west. The event, from Kallang, Singapore, was previously taped and broadcast via tape delay.
Following up from May’s Full Blast, which replaced the now-delayed all-female Empower card, Full Blast II featured a Muay Thai main event. That saw Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy go up against the dangerous Elias Mahmoudi.
Only four bouts adorned the Full Blast II card, two of which saw mixed martial arts action transpire. In the first, Ma Jia Wen of China went head-to-head with Yoon Chang Min of South Korea. The second saw the only American on the card, Ben Wilhelm, go up against Mongolian lightweight Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu.
Opening up Friday’s card was a kickboxing contest that saw Japan’s Taiki Naito take on Wang Wenfeng.
